How much experience is needed before trying sea kayaking around the Farne Islands ? I’ve been canoeing before on lakes. I can get back in a canoe in deep water if I fall out and can swim.
Do I need more experience before joining a group kayaking around the Farne Islands ?

I would recommend as a minimum that you have done a number of days of touring paddling before attempting the Farnes paddle – it can be a long day if the tide and wind conspire against you..

Do you offer paddling at Beadnell for novices?

  4. swinhoe says:

Yes – absolutely ! – Beadnell Bay is an ideal place to try sea kayaking.
Give us a call and we can arrange a session with you ! 🙂
